The farewell concert of singer Jasper Taconis at Taste of Belgium in the Palm Beach Plaza was fantastic. The crowd had braved gusts of chilly wind and rain showers to hear him sing his ballads and musical songs once more and at the end the final applause soon became a standing ovation.

Priscilla Weeda is supervisor at Taste of Belgium Restaurant. She is originally from the royal city of the Netherlands, The Hague and has studied there hospitality management.

As part of her education Priscilla did her traineeship at the Amsterdam Manor hotel in Aruba in 2007 and immediately fell in love with the island.

After returning to Holland to finish her education, she missed Aruba and its people and visitors and decided to return after graduation.
